DVD Reviews #2 Expendables/Despicable Me

This one's going to be easy because all I have to is copy and paste my video script. Unlike my first one, this is going to be short and (hopefully) funny. Once I finish going over my previous movies, I'll go back to doing the smart thoughtful analysis that my first one was. This ones going to be two so...

First Off:

THE EXPENDABLES

  Great action movie. Nice concept. You should see it. Why? I'm going to tell you why.

Everything that happens in this movie can be described as BADASS!. Cast? BADASS Characters? BADASS! Villains? BADASS! Action? BADASS! Overall, the movie is BADASS!!!

Problems with it? This is probably going to sound stupid, but the movie probably had too much plot.

"But uneek, how can a movie have too much plot?"

Good question. See, it's not really too much plot, but, a lot of uneccesary dialog. See, the movie was trying to sell itself as a mindless action movie with more focus on fighting and guns and explosions and pure manliness. And, I saw it with that mindset. Yet, the movie tried really hard to give the movie some kind of resemblance of a plot and it took breaks from the action. So, instead of the action just starting and not stopping, it was action, some talking, action, some talking, action and you get the point.

But still, it was BADASS!!

Rating: B...for BADASS!


Next:

DESPICABLE ME

Greatly animated movie. Heartwarming. Had some very funny moments. You should see it. Why? Again, I'm going to tell you. 




The movie, I gotta tell you, isn't "laugh out loud" funny. It's more of a "family movie" kind of funny. But still it's funny. It's also got great animation, a bunch of stars in it, and it looks awesome in HD. 


Rating: B for uh,....Whatever, It was pretty good.
